Pozdrowienia bożonarodzeniowe 2020
Drodzy przyjaciele Eurojumelages,
wkrótce Boże Narodzenie. Czas refleksji, spojrzenia wstecz i zadumę.
Nikt nie mógł przewidzieć roku takiego jak ten. Pandemia Korony trzymała i trzyma nadal cały nasz świat w swoich ryzach .
Wielu z nas przyeżywa emocjonalne rozterki pomiędzy strachem i głębokim zaufaniem, pomiędzy dystansem i bliskością. I uświadamiamy sobie, jak bardzo jesteśmy wszyscy wspólnie połączeni , jak ważne są nasze spotkania i kontakty.
Rok 2020 rozpoczął się tak obiecująco: radość oczekiwania wielu międzynarodowych, jak i regionalnych wydarzeń była wyczuwalna wśród nas wszystkich. Liczni entuzjaści sportu z niecierpliwością czekali na tradycyjny wrocławski OSCAR, który od dawna był planowany przez naszych polskich przyjaciół . Zarówno społeczność bulwarów chętnie konkurowałaby na wodach środkowego Renu.
Nie należy również zapominać o licznych międzynarodowych kursach językowych, licznych spotkaniach partnerskich, a także regionalnych i tradycyjnych wydarzeniach poszczególnych sekcji, które nie mogły się odbyć w tym roku.
Bardzo ważne jest dla mnie aby w tym miejscu z całego serca podziękować wszystkim tym, którzy planowali te wydarzenia z wielkim osobistym zaangażowaniem i poświęceniem i niestety z powodu obecnej sytuacji musieli je potem odwołać.
Na początku pandemii Korony rozpocznała się obecna kadencja Rady Administracyjnej, która wzynaczyła sobie do zrealizowania konkretne cele - otwarcie Eurojumelages dla nowych członków i modernizacja strony internetowej Eurojumelages. Dzięki nowoczesnym środkom komunikacji udało się naszej Radzie Administracyjnej spotkać kilka razy w 2020 roku, dzięki czemu projekty te mogły zostać uruchomione pomimo pandemii.
Mam nadzieję, że cała "społeczność Eurojumelages" przetrwała ten trudny rok pandemii bez uszczerbku na zdrowiu i że w Nowym Roku będziemy mieli możliwość spotkać się w pełnym zdrowiu osobiście .
"Nawet z kłód rzucanych pod nogi można budować piękne rzeczy" - powiedział kiedyś Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. W tym duchu spoglądajmy w przyszłość i wykorzystajmy pandemię Korony jako okazję do wspólnego kształtowania przyszłości Eurojumelage.
Życzę Wam i Waszym rodzinom Wesołych Świąt i optymistycznego startu w zdrowy Nowy Rok 2021.

Dear friends of the Eurojumelages,
The coronavirus is currently dramatically changing lives around the world and is practically stopping public life.
Eurojumelages with its national associations and sections is not exempt from the consequences of this pandemic.
This has fundamentally changed the general conditions in our country as well.
The everyday life of our associations’ events and activities has come to a standstill.
At this point I would like to thank all those responsible for their sections who are acting calmly and considerately and cancel or postpone long-planned events and meetings until further notice.
Especially for events that were planned a long time ago, these decisions are very regrettable. But this is necessary for all of us to get through this crisis well.
The imperative of the hour is - as paradoxical as it may sound for an association for European international understanding - that as few people as possible should come together to contain the virus.
When we have overcome this corona pandemic in good health, we will pick up where we left off, following the motto: "Postponed is not abandoned".

All over the world we are in a very difficult and serious situation that places enormous burdens on every individual. With a level-headed approach we will master this situation together!

Every year, Europe Day is celebrated on the 1st Saturday in May to commemorate the foundation of the European Union.
Assemblée Générale Eurojumelages à Hendaye
Du 3 au 6 octobre 2019, les délégués Eurojumelages se sont retrouvés à Hendaye.
Le Conseil d'Administration élu pour 3 ans.
Multi-Section Meeting in Ireland Sept 2019
Jumelages Galway Section hosted a Multi-Section Meeting in the South East of Ireland incorporating two cities, Kilkenny and Waterford, from the 8th to 13th September 2019. In all 51 people attended this Multi-Section Meeting comprising of representatives from the Bonn Section, Nord Isere Section, La Rochelle Section, Bielsko-Biala Section and the Galway Section. In addition, we had guest visitors from the Darmstadt Section in Germany in attendance.
We were delighted and honoured once again to welcome Marian Fabian, President of Euro Jumelages to our meeting as Marian is a great friend of Jumelages Galway for many years and we very much appreciate the excellent work that he has undertaken in his term as President of Euro Jumelages.

Cours de cuisine 2019 à Valencia
Quatre Espagnols , une Allemande et trois Français se sont partagés les fourneaux de différents établissements culinaires à Valencia . Chaque journée fut différente. Bien sûr que nous avons cuisiné la célèbre paella qui est née dans cette région de l’Albufera et qui était un plat pour les gens de la campagne qui travaillaient la terre, mais nous avons appris, tous les petits secrets pour qu’elle soit parfaite. !!!

Cours d’espagnol à Carmona
Cette année encore, le 30 mars 2019, pour notre pur bonheur, notre chef organisateur Camilo nous a rassemblés dans un très bel hôtel au nom prestigieux de l’Alcazar de la Reina à Carmona (40 000 habitants) à l’est de Séville dans la vaste province d’Andalousie. La ville est composée de parties bien distinctes, délimitées par une enceinte maure. La partie ancienne bâtie au sommet d’une colline surplombe une plaine agricole d’une grande richesse. On disait de Carmona qu’elle était inexpugnable. La rencontre est toujours très chaleureuse et l’on sent cette amitié indéfectible tissée au cours de ces séjours studieux et de visites des alentours.
