April 30: CATANIA - RIVIERA DEI CICLOPI

Arrival at Catania airport before 11am. Pick up by our staff, settling in coach (departure at around 11 a.m.), visit Catania, one of the Eight cities of the Val di Noto, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002, a short guided tour. A Baroque city situated on the Ionian Sea in a vast plain dominated by Mount Etna, devastated by the eruption of 1669 and the earthquake of 1693, it flourished again in the 1700s thanks to the urban reorganization work of Architect Battista Vaccarini. Free lunch. Walk along the Riviera dei Ciclopi and transfer to hotel for accommodation in reserved rooms. Dinner and overnight stay.

01 May: SYRACUSE - NOTO - CATANIA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Syracuse. Morning dedicated to a visit of the historical centre, the archaeological area and Ortigia. Lunch in a restaurant and continuation to Noto for a visit to the Baroque city. Return to Catania. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

02 May: ETNA - TAORMINA
Breakfast at the hotel and excursion to Mount Etna. Lunch in a restaurant and in the afternoon transfer to Taormina for a visit to the Greek Theatre and a walk along Corso Umberto. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

03 May: TINDARI - CEFALU' - PALERMO
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Tindari, visit of the Tindari Sanctuary. Lunch in a restaurant and transfer to Cefalù, visit to the historic centre and the Cathedral. Transfer to hotel and accommodation in reserved rooms. Dinner and overnight stay.

04 May: PALERMO - MONREALE - MARSALA
Breakfast at the hotel and guided tour of the city of Palermo and its beautiful Norman monuments, from the Cathedral to the Palatine Chapel and ending with the Quattro Canti, Piazza Vergogna, Teatro Massimo etc. Return to the hotel for lunch and in the afternoon visit to the Cathedral of Monreale, a jewel of world-famous Norman architecture. Transfer to Marsala to the hotel and accommodation in the reserved rooms. Dinner and overnight stay.

05 May: EGADI ISLANDS MINICRUISE
Breakfast at the hotel. and departure for the port and embarkation on motorboat to Favignana. Stop for swimming in Cala Rossa and visit to the coast: Cave di Tufo, Bue Marino, Cala Azzurra, Grotta dei Sospiri.
Light lunch on board and disembark in the characteristic town of Favignana. Brunch on the ship.
Continuation and visit to the island of Levanzo and the ancient village and stop for swimming. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

06 May: ERICE - MAZARA DEL VALLO - AGRIGENTO
Breakfast at the hotel and continuation to Erice, an enchanting medieval village perched on Mount S. Giuliano overlooking the coast and the expanses of white salt marshes below. Lunch in a restaurant and departure for Mazara del Vallo, home to Italy's largest fishing fleet in its port; visit to the historic centre where, in addition to the Cathedral, numerous palaces and buildings of historical interest can be admired. Departure for Agrigento. Accommodation in a hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

07 May: AGRIGENTO
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour of the Valley of the Temples, an archaeological park declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site with eight Doric temples dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries BC. We will admire the well-preserved Temples of Juno, Hercules and Concordia. Return to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon, free time at leisure to admire the narrow streets and shops.
Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

08 May: PIAZZA ARMERINA - CALTAGIRONE - AGRIGENTO
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Piazza Armerina. Morning dedicated to a visit to the Villa Romana del Casale, declared a World Heritage Site thanks to its splendid, perfectly preserved polychrome mosaics illustrating hunting and leisure scenes, mythological episodes and historical depictions. Lunch in a restaurant. Continue to Caltagirone to admire the unique Sicilian Baroque style that has earned the city UNESCO World Heritage status. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

09 May: AGRIGENTO - APT CATANIA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Fontanarossa Airport for the return flight.
